(English) BalkanEros, in the sense of style, can best be described as a peculiar, but functional, collective and their music as a combination of the r’n’r background (in the broadest sense of the word) from which the bandmers are unequivocally coming, with a variety of influences – from old mediteranian sounds (Renato Carosone, Adriano Celentano), American folk (Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel), through calypso (Hari Belafonte), to Gipsy notes, all with the key seal of Slavic sensibility (from Balkan to Russia). BalkanEros are a happy and unpretentious, cosmopolitan band, with a diverse and yet coherent expression that sends a pure (yet powerful and serious) message of love, playfulness and primordial happiness about being alive. They do this through their melodic and textually powerful original songs and, equally, through their authentic, authoritative cover versions of traditional and original music of the world.
